Waban Projects,Inc is a community-based agency, which believes in the principles of normalization and integration in the least restrictive environment. Waban believes in the dignity of the individual; recognizing that each person has physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and rights. Our goal is to provide an individually tailored program which will enhance each consumer's ability to cope with his or her environment.

Waban Projects, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized to develop and operate programs and residential facilities which promote the general welfare, education, and development of young and old with developmental disabilities

History:
Organized in 1966 with volunteers and a budget of $17, Waban is now operating day programs and residential facilities with over 260 employees.
