The Casco Bay YMCA builds strong kids, individuals, and communities through programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body for everyone regardless of an ability to pay.
Description:
The Y presently serves 6100 members engaging in swimming, wellness programs, Prime Time, Preschool and miscellaneous social events. Scholarships are provided for those who are unable to pay the membership fee. Children 3 months to 10 years old are welcome in the Prime Time area if a parent in present in the facility. Personal trainers are available in the wellness area and aerobic classes run continuously throughout the day. Volunteering is an integral part of our organization with opportunities available in all departments. We serve people of all ages with programs from infancy to active older adults.
History:
Casco bay is part of the Cumberland County YMCA, one of three Y's in the county. We have been open for more almost 10 years providing community based programs for children, families, adults, and seniors. Our agency strives to keep up with the needs of the community.
