Welcome to United Way of Central Iowa's Board Connections Online! We have created this web-based service to assist you in finding the board opportunity that best suits your needs and interests.
Board service is a great way to develop leadership skills, share your professional expertise with nonprofit organizations and feel more involved with your community.
Check out current board and board committee opportunities from our volunteer database, then refine your search to find opportunities near your home or work! Note - you need to register yourself prior to viewing opportunities. Prior to contacting an organization we will ask you to create a board profile (if you are already registered as a volunteer, you only need to add a board profile). When you are done you will be able to contact any board and board committee positions you see. Information in your profile is only shared with organizations you contact, to help them respond to your inquiry. You will only need to fill out this profile once, unless your interests or information change.
