Description:
The VNA offers volunteer opportunities for individuals who are interested in helping terminally ill patients and their families through friendly visits, caregiver relief and assistance with errands. The primary mission of the VNA as it relates to our clients/patients is to provide high quality, effective and efficient health care services, health related social services, health support services and hospice services in the least restrictive environment possible, primarily the home.

History:
Since 1934, Texans have trusted the unexpected moments of their lives to the Visiting Nurse Association. VNA was the first Hospice in Texas. Professional Staff of Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Medical Social Workers, Chaplains and Registered Nutritionist. VNA offers nursing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
