Description:
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) identifies and addresses issues that impact the communities of Denton County and through volunteer service enhances the lives of older adults as well as the lives of those they serve.
History:
RSVP became a force in Denton County over 30 years ago and has grown to a powerful force of over 900 volunteers serving communities through projects of RSVP as well as through area non-profit, governmental and health related organizations. RSVP works very closely with the Denton County Health Department; educating new mothers on the importance of childhood immunization, educating seniors on West Nile Virus prevention and recruiting volunteers for the Denton County Medical Reserve Corps.
