Friendly Greeter: CPCH is seeking volunteers to meet and greet visitors during the weekday from 8am to 5pm. Shifts vary from morning, afternoon to late afternoon. A commitment of one school semester is required, approximately 5 months.
Refreshments and snacks available.
Ability to read, write and converse in English.
Ability to communicate with staff, residents, families, vendors, support agencies and others.
Ability to respond to telephones and other auditory stimulation.
Exceptional customer relations skills.
Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting/standing.
(No computer skills will be required. Job responsibility will only be to answer basic phones and greet visitors.)
