This volunteer position would entail answering the Crisis Nursery phone, and making appropriate arrangements for emergency childcare. Crisis Nursery is an early intervention child abuse prevention program with the mission of preventing adult problems from becoming children’s problems. Confidential emergency services are available at no cost for 2 to 72 hours of care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year for infants to 12 year olds. Parents who do not have resources or support may use Crisis Nursery services 10 times in a 12 month period, if necessary.
