EF Foundation for Foreign Study is a non-profit high school exchange program dedicated to breaking down barriers of language, culture and geography.
Description:
EF Foundation for Foreign Study is a worldwide, non-profit organization which aims to promote international understanding and global awareness through cultural exchange. Each year, over 3000 students travel with our program to experience life in a different country. Although our students are from places as different as Brazil and Austria, Hong Kong and Columbia, they each share the same dream - to live with an American family and experience the American way of life. It is the opportunity of a lifetime and we at EF Foundation are proud to help make dreams a reality. We are looking for generous families to host our students for a semester or academic year and we are searching for coordinators to promote the program within their community and supervise the students throughout the year.
History:
EF Foundation for Foreign study was established in 1979 to provide students from around the world with the opportunity to experience a new culture from the inside. Since that time, EF Foundation has provided study abroad opportunities to over 90,000 students from over 35 countries, an achievement made possible by the support of schools, coordinators and host families on 5 continents.
