Paterson Education Fund is a not for profit organization whose mission is to stimulate community action for change so that Paterson Public Schools educate all children to high standards
Description:
PEF provides information on emerging education issues. PEF organizes the community and parents to support, monitor and advocate for education. PEF's schools and community initiative builds strong partnerships between schools and the community to create a seamless set of health and social services for Paterson's children and their families. PEF's 50 Book Club Program rewards children for reading 50 or more books during the school year. PEF's Family Friendly Computer Program places donated used computers in the homes of Paterson children and teaches them how to use and trouble-shoot the technology.

Paterson Education Fund celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2003. PEF convenes and brokers relationships to improve education in Paterson
