Girl Scouts: Lenni-Lenape Council, Inc. Without adults playing many pivotal roles, Girl Scouting couldn't happen. Become a leader, co-leader, or assistant leader and give more girls an opportunity to become Girl Scouts. Adult volunteers are always needed to work with the girls. There are many girls that don't receive the opportunity to join Girl Scouts because there are not enough leaders, co-leaders, and assistant leaders. No experience is necessary and training is provided. You don't have to be a mom to be a leader. All adults are welcome: college students, young singles, grandparents, childless couples, retirees, and others. Troop leaders, co-leaders, and assistant leaders work directly with the girls. They are responsible for the overall operation and coordination of the troop. In order to be considered, they must be 18+ years of age, possess mature judgment, have a sense of fun, a desire to build a girl/adult partnership in program and decision-making, and good organization skills. The Girl Scout program can change the way girls see the world and their place in it. Girl Scouts participate in many fun and enriching programs including sports skill-building clinics, career mentoring, world travel and cultural exchanges, local community service projects, environmental education, and financial literacy. The best part is that the girls themselves play a large part in designing their own Girl Scout experience! Volunteer today and make a difference in a girl's life.
They must participate in the Girl Scouts: Lenni-Lenape Council volunteer training process and be at least 18 years of age. This opportunity is sponsored by: Girl Scouts: Lenni-Lenape Council
