Bear Creek Services is a non-profit agency which provides residential and support services for adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. It is our mission to provide the highest quality of support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.

Description:
Bear Creek Services presently serves 55 adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury in 13 group homes through out the Rochester area. We believe that services for persons with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury are best delivered in a community-based home atmosphere in which he or she feels a sense of belonging to their living situation. We believe that family and friends should be included whenever possible in planning for services.

History:
Bear Creek Services was started 29 years ago by concerned parents of children with developmental disabilities. At that time, there were no options or services for their adult children. They opened the first group home in the Rochester area which housed 4 adult men. Since then, through the support of parents, the community and many volunteers, Bear Creek Services now offers housing for over 50 clients in 13 group homes in Rochester.
