Provide high quality programs for adults with disabilities , which support development of independence, work readiness, personal growth and greater participation in the community, in order to promote self-acceptance, mutual respect, self-determination, and dignity.
Description:
The Adults with Disabilities program provides classes and day programs for adults with special needs in a a variety of subject areas including life skills, literacy, job training, leisure skills, health and fitness, and community independence. This program is ideal for individuals who, because of the nature or severity of their disability, are unable to benefit from instruction in the regular classroom. Classes and programs are individually designed to meet the needs of adults with specific disabilities, including developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, limited vision, and mental health needs.
