Our mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Description:
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and support services in support of our mission.

The Society is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of individual and corporate contributions to advance its mission.

History:
Since the first funding in 1954, the Society has awarded almost $500 million in research grants in the fields of hematology and oncology. In Iowa, the Society serves about 1200 patients annually through patient education programs, support groups, patient financial aid, peer counseling, and Back to School programs for children.
