Our mission is to help curb the rampant growth of the homeless cat population by providing food, medical assistance, and housing for cats until a good home is found.
Description:
The Adopt A Cat Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization, committed to finding loving homes for rescued cats and kittens. Founded by our 12-year rescue veteran Inga Hanley, the foundation operates solely by donations and the support of its volunteers. Our shelter is a NO-KILL SHELTER. Our organization is in need of donations for our Thrift Store. If you would like to make a donation of clothes, furniture, and other items, please contact Inga at 561-307-3962.
History:
Adopt A Cat Foundation and its foster-care guardians provide shelter for over 200 homeless, abandoned, ill, and injured cats. We rescue, trap, spay, neuter, and provide medical treatment. We strive to educate the public about the importance of spay and neutering through shelter tours, fundraising events, TV spots, and our newsletter. Adopt A Cat operates a thrift store to offset the reduced levels of donations received in relation to the increased need to fund our cat rescue efforts. Volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to: Shelter Volunteer Thrift Store Volunteer Public Relations Fundraising Fostering Adoptions
