Community Home Care & Hospice needs volunteers! If you have a caring heart and a little time to share, we would love for you to join us. We have several volunteer opportunities available. We have clerical, direct or indirect, bereavement, tuck-in or as needed volunteer opportunities. Many of our patients are glad just to have someone to sit and talk to or to read with. They may also need assistance with errands, respite care, and many other duties. Our volunteers are as valued as our patients. We request our volunteers be caring and compassionate individuals. There is training required most of this may be done on your own time and the remaining is a short session in our office. Volunteer assignments are given according to patient need and the volunteers availability.
