Hands On is calling on all green thumbs. The Environmental Resources Management, establishes various programs to preserve, enhance, and protect the land and water resources throughout Palm Beach County. Volunteers will be working on the brush-filled areas so wear old clothes and shoes.

There is no minimum age to volunteer. Eight to ten volunteers are needed. The volunteer opportunity is from 8:00am - 11:00am. Volunteers should dress comfortably - hat, pants and sneakers. You must call the project coordinator to sign up - a confirmation form will be sent to you. Please see directions below - the project is not at the Hands On address.

Directions:
 Take I-95 to Blue Heron Blvd. and go west to the Bee Line Hwy. (State Rd. 710). Turn right heading west on the Bee Line for roughly 1/8 of a mile to Haverhill Road. Turn left on Haverhill heading south for roughly 1 mile (you will pass Dyer Park). Winding Waters Natural Area is located on the west side of Haverhill Rd. There is no sign marking the natural area - look for the white county truck parked along Haverhill Rd. next to a gate. Volunteers will enter the gate and park in the open field inside the fence. If you reach the bridge construction site you have gone too far.
