The mission of Revitalax Victorian is to provide comprehensive services to include the basic need of housing, nutrition, information & referrals, health awareness, life skills training, limited transportation, education/support and other advocacy assistance to inspire self-sufficiency, foster personal outcome goals as well as a better "quality of life."
Description:
Reviatalax Five-Year Strategic Plan provides the opportunity to develop additional priorities for comprehensive continuous improvement goals to ensure staff consistency, optimal service provision, and to keep abreast of the latest updates on homeless, dual-diagnosed men, the developmentally delayed, women and children's issues. Our future expansion strategies include a Women's Resource Center, Outpatient Substance Abuse Services, Community Outreach, Counseling, and an Intergenerational Program. The annual Self-Assessment indicates which strategy is the next to be implemented for our clients.
History:
Since 1988, Revitalax Victorian is a nonprofit organization providing housing placements to the functional mentally challenged and recovering addicts with Adult Foster Care and Independent Group Living Facilities in Broward County. Nearly eight years ago we moved to Palm Beach County in the Lake Worth community and collaborated with Developmental Services to promote the same holistic approach here. We are pleased to partner with the YWCA of Palm Beach County, Hope House of the Palm Beaches, Operation Hope, Sistah to Sistah, Adopt-a-Family, the United Way, the Homeless Coalition, Transformation Rebirth Institute, Florida's Best, the Drug Abuse Foundation, Inter-City Upbeat, Unity of Love Fellowship and many other community organizations that are making a difference.
