Greater Works, has been a cornerstone in this rural Indiana community for approximately 9 years. Expanding services to meet the various needs of the community is at the forefront, from domestic violence prevention and substance abuse rehabilitation to youth/career development.
Description:
Programs are specifically geared toward social, self enrichment and diversity for all members of the community, in particular, parents, youth, women and families. These programs include, but are not limited to: after school, skills development, battered, and abused services for women and children.
History:
As affiliate to Greater Works, We N' Vhision was formed out of smaller and affiliate entities in the Chicago,IL, Indiana, and California areas. We endeavor to promote health, human support services and literary and cultural arts. Vhision 2 - An art and social engaging program for the visually, and hearing impaired, offering participants art instruction from ceramics to canvas painting and allowing exchange between others within and outside this circle. CAT - A multi-arts program for grade levels 5-high school, that encompasses: poetry, sewing and illustration to drama and music. Many of We N'Vhision's entities have existed for nearly a decade or more, the collective formation has come about since 2006.
