The Portage Resale Shop is a Compassion Ministry that exists to serve Christ in His mandate to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, and take in the stranger. Hearing the command of our Lord Jesus Christ to love one another as He loves us, the Resale Shop has been established by area churches to raise funds for ministries of compassion in the community.
Description:
The Portage Resale Shop is a 501 (c) 3 charity organization located on the southwest corner of McCool Road and Route 6. Donations are accepted during regular business hours, 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday. Items are cleaned, inspected and offered for sale with proceeds distributed directly to organizations to help the needy in our community.
