Learn-N-Serve TJMS is a club originating in Thomas Jefferson Middle School and composed of 6th grade students willing and eager to serve their community.
Description:
The members of Learn-N-Serve TJMS maintain at least a 2.0 gpa, research community issues, have group discussion about these issues, and devise service learning projects to impact their community in a positive way.
History:
Learn-N-Serve TJMS was created in early April 2008 and has 9 current members. Between these volunteers, they have put in over 50 volunteer hours and have helped out with a Porter County Special Olympics Swim Meet.
