Description: Catholic Charities of LaPorte County provides emergency assistance to people who are at risk of homelessness; housing counseling; budget and credit counseling; and family and individual counseling. History: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Gary was established in 1937 and has been serving the people of LaPorte Country in our Michigan City office for the past 42 years.
