The mission of the City of Valparaiso Volunteer Bureau is to promote the spirit of volunteerism by encouraging citizen participation within the City Government and to enhance the quality of municipal services in Valparaiso while conserving City resources.

The City of Valparaiso Volunteer Bureau provides careful planning and execution of up coming events that are related to the community. We are dedicated to achieving every goal that we set and strive to represent the community with the highest of standards.
History:
The City of Valparaiso was established in 1837. There are roughly 27,000 residents and visitors in Valparaiso. Valparaiso is a volunteer city. Large percentages of local citizens, businesses, along with churches, the Chamber of Commerce as well as Valparaiso University work together to make the city a better place to live and work.
