We are looking for teachers/trainers who have knowledge in raising butterflies and would like to volunteer their time and experience conducting workshops for volunteers interested in learning how to raise them for our mass release.

Whether you are considering volunteering your time to TCF to teach others about raising butterflies or you are volunteering to raise butterflies, this project is an awesome and meaningful opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference in the life of someone who has lost a child, grandchild, or sibling. It can also be a meaningful opportunity for a volunteer who would like to donate their time in the memory of a loved one who has died.

Experience is required for anyone interested in volunteering their time to conduct workshops on raising butterflies.

By helping others we help ourselves
The Compassionate Friends help bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings through their grief by acknowegement, acceptance, and compassion. We acknowlege that life will never be the same after the loss of a child/sibling. We accept that there is no way to fix the pain, but talking to other parents/siblings who have experienced the same loss helps the bereaved parent/sibling know that someone really understands, will be there to support them, cares, and wants to help.
