We are a non-denominational association dedicated to the purpose of uniting appropriate medical resources with children to age 18 in need in the United States and abroad.

Description:
We send medical teams abroad to perform needed surgeries on children wherein their own country cannot provide. From these trips and through foreign referrals, we bring children to the United States for additional surgeries and/or medical services. We also have contacts within this country who know we provide medical services when there is often no other options.

History:
As the result of adopting a child from South Korea who ultimately died due to a lack of medical care early enough in her life, Cris Embleton started with a child from Guatemala in need of heart surgery (1979). Connecting US doctors and gaining donated help and services, Cris gave birth to Healing the Children.
