In 1911 Tacoma Day was the first of its kind in Pierce County, established to provide quality affordable child care.
Description:
Throughout the years Tacoma Day has continued to provide the latest in early care and learning for our children. Today we have a state of the art Early Learning Center that serves children 14 months through pre-kindergarten and an academically supportive School Age Program for children up to age 10. Our program is nationally accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. An honor we have held since 1998.
History:
Tacoma is celebrating being able to provide service to our community since 1911. The success and longevity of this program is testimony to the spirit of our community:people giving generously of their time, talents, pledging monetary support and working together to ensure the well being of our young children.
