Our mission at Catholic Community Services is to serve all people, especially the poor and most vulnerable, with compassion, love and respect. The Tahoma Family Center, housed in the renovated St. Leo High School Building in the heart of Tacoma's Hilltop Neighborhood, is the hub for more than 25 different programs. By carefully integrating our services with those of other agencies in the community, we are able to mend broken lives and nourish self-sufficiency within individuals and families throughout Pierce County.

Description:
In the safe, welcoming environment of the Hospitality Kitchen, about 1,200 hot, nutritious meals (breakfast and lunch) are served to vulnerable homeless and other low-income people. At the Kitchen, guests are treated with dignity and respect as they learn of other available services while eating a wholesome meal.the Kitchen is open Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM

History:
Catholic Community Services has provided a broad range of services for over 80 years. The Hospitality Kitchen began in 1981. Catholic Community Services took over operation in December 2001.
