Washington Youth Soccer TOPSoccer is The Outreach Program that enables children under 19 with physical and/or intellectual disabilities to play soccer.
Description:
TOPSoccer currently has programs running in Snohomish, Shoreline, Tukwila, Centralia, Redmond, Spokane, Kitsap Peninsula, Bainbridge Island, Tacoma, Bellingham and Edmonds. Our program's focus is on participation, making friends, learning new skills, (soccer skills as well as life skills) and having fun; all the components of what mainstream soccer players experience when they join a team. Success is defined by accomplishments, not goals scored. Our motto is: "Find a Way ~ Make it Happen" which we strive to do to make TOPSoccer a rewarding experience for players, parents, coaches and buddies.
History:
WSYSA is a member of Unites States Youth Soccer, and is the sixth largest state association in the US in terms of membership. TOPSoccer is a program under the WSYSA umbrella and is enjoying its eighth year of bringing fun and a sense of belonging to a team to our players. Our programs are growing quickly and as such there is a need for coaches and buddies.
