When a person outlives family and friends and no one comes to visit, a person feels they are not worthy of visits. Give a person a reason to be uplifted, motivated and have something to look forward to!

Description:
Friend To Friend matches volunteers to visit one-on-one with residents in local Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Retirement Homes. It's simple. Each volunteer visits one resident at least 2 times a month at their convenience, for a year. Visits may be as short as 15-30 minutes. Some friendships have lasted 20 years! The application process is easy, we ask for your personal preferences so we can help make you successful and comfortable in this opportunity. History:
Friend To Friend began 34 years ago to fill a need that was not being met in nursing homes. The program now encompasses assisted living and retirement communities. Since 1974, more than 15,000 residents have shared in an intergenerational relationship with a new friend. It's priceless.
