Position title: Board of Directors
Description: The Adopt-A-Stream Foundation is in the process of building the first regional environmental learning facility in the Pacific NW. The Northwest Stream Center is located in Snohomish County's Mc Collum Park. We are beginning a capital campaign to raise $2.5 million dollars to support construction of a Trout Stream Exhibit, one mile of raised boardwalk interpretive trails, a forest canopy viewing tower and a salmon habitat viewing platform.
We expanding our Board of Directors to assist in the fund raising effort. Once fully operational, the NW Stream Center will attract up to 45,000 visitors a year who will receive stream and wetland ecology basic training and take lessons learned back to watersheds throughout the Pacific NW.
