Position title: Board Development Committee Member
Description: Mission Statement: The mission of Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims is to support and advocate for victims of violent crime, adult missing persons, and their loved ones, and to provide education about victims' rights and services.

Purpose of the Position: This committee is responsible for the overall development of the Board of Directors for Families and Friends. Its membership is composed of members of the Board as well as others as deemed appropriate.

The Board Development Committee prepares the slate of new Board members for organization elections, helps committees find new members and assists the Board as needed in the recruitment of Advisory Board members.
