BOARD MEMBERS
New board members are needed who believe that prevention programs which teach youth important and empowering safety skills are effective in stopping abuse from occurring or continuing.
Specific skills and strengths needed from board members at this time include marketing and promotional, grant-writing, fund raising, and computer expertise.
Board meetings are scheduled monthly, on the 2nd Monday of each month, beginning at 6:00 pm, in Seattle.
Board members participate in several fund raising activities.
Present members include several sales and human resource individuals, a retired nurse and a school counselor/reading specialist.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Volunteers who have special interests in helping with any of the following activities: marketing and publicity, administrative or data input, helping with fund raising events, contacting schools about Open Door's program.
Committee members attendance at board meetings is optional.
