The child companion volunteer works one on one with medically fragile and disabled children to provide comfort and companionship. Interaction is aimed at decreasing isolation and increasing stimulation. Examples of duties include visiting, reading, sensory stimulation, playing, art, music, etc. The goal is to enhance the child's quality of life. Your time with them makes an incredible difference.
