On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 - 8 mothers at the shelter meet with other women and professionals to share with each other and create plans. Our childcare volunteers offer a safe and fun environment at the shelter for the children of these women to explore, learn and play with other children their age. If you love spending time with children as much as our current childcare volunteers do, join them in a schedule of activities that frees up moms and children to their own time. What a great gift! Must be over 18 years of age and submit to a background check. This opportunity is sponsored by: Aiding Women in Abuse & Rape Emergencies (AWARE)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
