Westerly Adult Day Services is committed to serving adults who are functionally, emotionally and/or cognitively impaired thereby enabling them to remain in the community connected to family and friends.
Description:
Westerly Adult Day Services offers a safe stimulating environment designed to promote the highest level of independence and dignity. The program is staffed with nursing professionals who monitor the needs of the participants. A Social Services Coordinator who assists the families with education and supportive services and an Activities Director who offers a well-balanced program of activities and entertainment individualized to meet the needs of each participant. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30AM- 4:00PM with a Support Group meeting on the Second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30PM. The Support Group is free of charge and open to the public.
History:
The agency was established in 1980, as a small operation at the Fellowship Hall of Dunn's Corners Presbyterian Church and has flourished into what we now know as Westerly Adult Day Services. Celebrating 25 years of "Sharing the Caring!"
