History:
The All Saints Neighborhood Center began in a closed church building in 1997. Then began four years of intensive development in cooperation with All Saints Catholic Parish, community residents and businesses, universities, and several other collaborating agencies. All Saints Neighborhood Center (ASNC) is now a well-known neighborhood center with a broad schedule of adult and youth programs in the heart of the Springwells community in southwest Detroit. The people who created the Center also created Neighborhood Centers Incorporated (NCI), a Michigan non-profit organization that received Internal Revenue Services 501(c)3 recognition in 1998. NCI exists to provide a conduit for channeling the experienc gained from our first project into the support for the renewal of additional neighborhoods.
