Looking for individuals interested in volunteering once a month for stewardship activities at Highland Recreation Area.
You will be working with State Park Stewardship Steward Laurel Malvitz in helping to restore native fens, tallgrass prairies, lakeplain prairies, and oak savannas on state park lands and recreation areas.

Join us for this fun native wildflower seed collection workday. Meet at the Silo Field Trial Area parking lot on Livingston Road, between Pettibone Lake and Beaumont Roads.

Join ongoing efforts to restore this area to an open grassland. Volunteers will be hauling and piling brush and stacking fire wood. Meet at the Barn Field Trial Area parking lot on the north side of Cooley Lake Road between Duck Lake and Beaumont Roads.

Join ongoing efforts to restore this area to open grassland. Volunteers will be hauling and piling brush and stacking fire wood. Meet at the Silo Field Trial Area parking lot off Livingston Road, between Pettibone Lake and Beaumont Roads.
These workday activities are not suitable for children 12 or under. An adult must accompany children between the ages of 13 to 16 for these volunteer activities.
