Furniture Assistant - Help Families in Need Get a Fresh Start!

 Would you like to help families choose the furniture they need to get a fresh start in life? We want every individual or family that comes in at their appointed time to work with a volunteer who can assist them in choosing from the available furniture. You will work from a printed computer list for that particular family and complete the form as items are loaded into their vehicles. Requirements: We need volunteers in our Pontiac facility who are available one morning or afternoon per week anytime Monday through Friday for 3-4 hours. Our hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan is close to downtown Pontiac, 1.5 blocks north of the Woodward loop.
From the south, take Woodward past Huron (M-59)and turn right onto N. Perry.
From the north, take Lapeer Rd, which turns into Perry. We are approximately 3 miles south of Walton.
From the west, take Huron (M-59) to N. Perry, turn left, go thru two lights the second of which is Woodward.
From the east or I-75, take the M-59 exit to Pontiac, turn right on Woodward, then right onto N. Perry.
