The American Red Cross is always seeking caring individuals who are willing to give of their time to provide relief to victims of disasters both locally and nationally.

Red Cross volunteers provide many services in a disaster response including, but not limited to, mobile feeding, shelter operations, disaster assessment, family services, logistics, and much, much more.

All volunteers need to be 18 years old, or have written releases from their parent and/or guardian.

Mandatory training is required (and provided) before volunteers are able to work in the field. Trainings can include First Aid and CPR, Intro. to Disaster, Mass Care, Shelter Operations, Family Services, and others.

Volunteers who wish to deploy to to national disaster responses are required to have local disaster response experience.
