Description:
The department of our agency for which we are seeking volunteers provides interdisciplinary, palliative end-of-life care for hospice patients. This includes addressing pain management, physical care, psycho-social, emotional, & spiritual needs in accordance with the hospice philosophy and Medicare guidelines and regulations. Volunteers are utilized in accordance with Medicare requirements.

History:
Horizon is a privately owned for-profit company started by Marcella Little in 1993 and located in Meridian, Idaho. Hospice services under Horizon began in 1995. Angels Anonymous is a non-profit affiliate that helps Horizon provide hospice care and support to uninsured and under-insured hospice patients.
