Aid For Friends is a private, non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter and other supportive services to individuals and families.
Description:
Aid For Friends programs include the Emergency Shelter located at 653 S. 4th, Pocatello, Idaho; case management, a transitional housing program with 11 housing units, a representative payee program to assist individuals with financial management, and a fellowship fund sponsored by local churches.
History:
Aid For Friends began in 1984 as a small, grassroots movement using volunteers and donations. In 1990, the organization incorporated and obtained a 501(c)3 status. Our services focus on providing opportunities for people who are homeless of facing homelessness. Currently, our administration building is at 636 Pershing, Suite C, Pocatello, Idaho.
