The Idaho Statesman and Journal Broadcast Group are working with the City of Boise to produce the 2008 4th of July Fireworks display at Ann Morrison Park.

Description:
Volunteer opportunities: We’re signing up volunteers to assist in the park the day and evening of the event. Volunteer responsibilities may include assistance at the information booth, securing the safety perimeter around the fireworks launch area, helping with parking and road blocks, placement and maintenance of trash receptacles around the park and various other duties. Volunteers opportunities are available during the day and many more during the evening Friday, July 4. Shifts are available as follows: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 8 a.m. to noon, noon to 4 p.m., 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to midnight.
