"To inspire and empower all all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens"
Description:
Here at the Boys & Girls Club, our programs are designed to develop independent thinking and cooperative behavior, through fun and excitement. We offer a variety of recreational activities for all youth ages 6 to 18. Memberships cost $10 per year. Additional fees may be charged for special classes and trips. Adults supervise all activities. Just simply stop by the Club to fill out a membership form. General Club hours are Monday through Friday 3 to 8 p.m. But we are open during the summer from 7am to 6pm and when school is out during the school year.
History:
Starting in 1997, the Boys & Girls Club opened it's doors to more than 100 youth. After a two million dollar capital campaign in 2001 that expanded the building to more than 30,000 square feet, the Boys & Girls Club now serves more than 150 youth every day. During the summer, more than 300 youth utilize the programs and services of the Club.
