Description:
Wishing Star grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses in Central and Eastern Washington and Idaho. We are dependent on individual gifts, fundraisers, donations, grants, memorials, corporate giving programs and estate planning. For children and their families who have endured so much battling illnesses a wish come true is sometimes the best medicine of all!
History:
We were founded in 1983 in Coeur d'Alene by a former school teacher. We have granted over 1,000 wishes. We are currently working on wishes for 5 local children in Boise this year.
