Description:
Catholic Charities of Idaho (CCI) offers counseling on a sliding fee scale to children, families, and adults.
CCI also offers immigration legal services, citizenship preparation and family support services including:crisis pregnancy intervention; parenting education; and social and mental health support groups. CCI provides youth development services and programs to promote school retention, positive peer interactions, and healthy choices through mentor relationships and appropriate developmental activities. CCI provides opportunities for families, teams, and individuals to visit, befriend and assist the frail elderly and homebound to remain independent. Relief for caregivers is also available for those dealing with chronic illnesses such as Alzheimer's and dementia. CCI also offers a variety of literacy based educational opportunities such as: English Language Learning, basic job skills training, financial education, and Plazas Comunitarias- native speaker spanish literacy program. Regional offices have varied services depending on identified community needs.
