To share God's love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and other in need, believing that "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone."
Description:
We are a not for profit, Christian based, multi level, long term care facility. We care for people from age 18-106 years of age with differing illnesses, diseases and injuries. We care for the health, social, and spiritual needs of each resident.
History:
Boise Samaritan Village is owned and operated by The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society based in Sioux Falls, SD. Boise Samaritan Village was opened here in Boise in 1957. The facility sits on land that was once owned by Dr. Collister. At that time Dr. Collister ran a rehabilitation center out of his 21-room mansion. Part or the original building still stands and is home to our young adult neighborhood, Heoger House.
