Get a group of eight or more volunteers together and challenge our club's wonderful youth to a games room tournament! Started by one youth looking for his own niche at the Boys & Girls Club, Title Shot Tuesday has grown into an inter-club favorite. Get your team together and challenge our club to one of the following great events: Singles or Doubles Pool, Single or Doubles Foosball, Pingpong, or Fire in the Hole Pool. Winners of the tournament get their picture and name on the wall of fame holding the championship belt! However, since you will be having fun with youth and giving them a memorable experience with members of their community who care, everyone walks away from this tournament a winner.

A positive attitude and great sportsmanship are required for participation. Although winning is fun, we emphasize personal achievement and stress the need to be gracious in victory as well as defeat.

On I-84, take the Meridian exit and head north on main street. Look for the blue street sign on the right hand side of the road past the rail road tracks indicating where the Club is and head east (right) on East Idaho Avenue. The Club is a block down the street on the right hand side of the road. Street parking is available as well as parking on the east side of the building.

I began volounterring there completly by chance. i was actually looking for a summer job and i ended up volounteering there. i sepent every day this summer there the most i oculd. i learned so much form those children and they tought me so much about myself that i never could have imagined. i changed that summmer. and i hope to return to meridian and see everyone. posted by NP Cheerleader on September 15, 2005
