The mission of the Hispanic Community Development Center is to respond to the needs of the Hispanic and non-Hispanic population living in Wayne County, North Carolina through advocacy, community development, and resource acquisition.

Description:
The Hispanic Community Development Center is operated by volunteers and operates solely on community and industry donations. Some of the services provided are:assistance with immigration, programs on local law enforcement, medical and dental outreach services, English as a Second Language classes, interpretation services, a food bank and job assistance. The organization is currently working on other programs and services to provide as well for the community. The organization also provides/participates in cultural events.

History:
The Hispanic Community Development Center, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, located in Dudley, North Carolina was established in November 2002. The organization was started by a local Hispanic man who felt the need to help those less fortunate in the community to better their lives and circumstances.
