The Airman and Family Readiness Center is dedicated to quality customer service, satisfaction, and readiness. We ensure the needs of the military family are met so the military member can focus on the mission of the United States Air Force. Several programs are used to accomplish this mission, including the "REST" program.

Description:
The "REST" (Readiness Emergency Sleeping Tool) program consists of a personalized pillowcase. A digital picture of the family, the active duty member or a pet is ironed on to a plain white pillowcase and personalized with a message. The same process can be accomplished on an infant t-shirt for children under 10 years of age. It is designed to be something tangible that helps ease the stress of separation during a temporary duty for the active duty member or the family.

History:
The "REST" program has been in operation since 2001. Each military family is eligible to receive one free pillowcase or one free infant t-shirt through this program. All pillowcases, infant t-shirts, computer ink, and iron-on transfer paper are obtained through donations.
