Our mission is to supply, serve and strengthen our neighbors in need. Our vision is to help people be made whole again through the services which we provide and through the love of the Lord.

Description:
The services provided by the Christian Fellowship Center are free and consist of grocery hand out every Wednesday, soup kitchen every Saturday and Sunday, counseling, support groups, clothing and the Christian Fellowship Center/Carehouse (a six family apartment building used to house individuals/families that are seeking to be made whole. CFC supplies needy families with material needs, serves them with our time and energy and strengthen family members with love and a new positive direction.

History:
The idea of establishing a center for Christian fellowship was born in the mind of Herbert Desjardins after he dedicated his life to God in 1979. In 1983 the Christian Fellowship Center was created where people of all faiths and backgrounds could come together to find solutions to life controlling problems through spiritual counseling. For nine years CFC and My Father's House(soup kitchen) operated separately in the same neighborhood one offering pastoral counseling and the other provided needy families with nutritious meals on weekends and groceries every Wednesday. In 1992 My Father's House turned over their operation to the Christian Fellowship Center. The counseling network broadened, the soup kitchen extended its clientele and the quality of its service. The food bank saw a dramatic improvement in the amount of food it distributed and in the efficiency of its operation. A thrift store was established to provide clothing and housewares to those in need. Today the vision continues to grow. CFC is making plans to add a life transition program for young families seeking a positive direction.
