Volunteering for the American Red Cross is a great way to do something for your community - what you may not expect is what it can do for you! There's a special feeling you get helping someone when they need it most. Choose your area of interest, your hours, your time commitment. And if you want, you can advance to leadership roles in nearly every volunteer category. Learn about volunteer opportunities in Disaster Services, Community Education Course Instruction, Blood Drives, Office Support, Special Events, and more. Following the orientation, you will have an opportunity to arrange an interview appointment. PLEASE NOTE: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED in case of date change.
You don't need special skills - we'll train you. Many volunteers bring skills from work or personal experience, but others choose to work in completely unrelated fields. We have openings for people of all skills and abilities. You might discover a skill you never knew you had, or a way to use skills that you never imagined. Either way, you'll find nothing feels better than neighbors helping neighbors.
